SEO services in Los Angeles

An SEO company for Los Angeles businesses. Two facts decide most plans here: a very large share of the county searches in Spanish, and a great deal of what people call Los Angeles is legally somewhere else.

The Los Angeles picture

Half the county searches in Spanish, and much of it is not Los Angeles

Los Angeles County is home to roughly ten million people and close to half of them are Hispanic or Latino. A very large volume of commercial search here happens in Spanish every day — for contractors, clinics, attorneys, restaurants, insurance, auto services and almost everything else — and the amount of well-built Spanish-language content competing for it is small. For a business that can genuinely serve those customers, it is the least contested valuable audience in the market.

The second fact is municipal. Santa Monica, Pasadena, Beverly Hills, Burbank, Glendale, Long Beach, Torrance and dozens more are separate cities with their own identities, and people in them search that way. “Los Angeles” as a term is contested by everyone in the region and tells you nothing about where the searcher is — which matters enormously in a place where a fourteen-mile trip can take an hour.

That drive time is the third fact and it shapes what counts as a lead. Someone in Pasadena is not crossing the county for a service they can get in Glendale, and an enquiry from the wrong side of the basin is frequently an enquiry you decline. Naming the neighborhoods and cities you actually serve is more useful here than almost anywhere else in the country.

The work

What SEO for a Los Angeles business involves

Spanish-language pages where you can serve them

Real translation on their own URLs with hreflang, for services you can actually deliver in Spanish. The demand is enormous and the competition for it is thin.

Neighborhood and separate-city pages

Santa Monica, Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, Torrance, the Valley, the Westside, DTLA. Each returns its own results and its own competitors.

A service area described in drive time

Say which parts of the basin you cover and roughly how long it takes. In LA that is the single most useful thing a page can tell someone.

Choosing which fights to skip

Citywide Los Angeles terms are among the most contested in the country and carry no location intent. Owning six areas you serve beats ranking eleventh for the county.

Questions we get

Los Angeles SEO, answered plainly

Is Spanish-language SEO really worth building here?

In most consumer categories, yes, and it is the clearest underserved opportunity in the market. Close to half of Los Angeles County is Hispanic or Latino, a large share of daily commercial search happens in Spanish, and very little of the content competing for it is properly built. The requirements are the usual ones: genuine translation, its own URLs, hreflang, and someone who can answer the call in Spanish.

Should we target Los Angeles or our neighborhood?

Your neighborhood, and the separate cities you actually serve. The citywide term is contested by the entire region and tells you nothing about where the searcher is, which matters when crossing the basin takes an hour. Area terms are winnable and produce customers who can actually reach you.

Do the separate cities really behave differently?

Completely. Santa Monica, Pasadena, Beverly Hills, Burbank and Long Beach have their own identities, their own price expectations and their own results pages, and residents describe themselves that way rather than as Angelenos. Treating them as districts of Los Angeles satisfies nobody.

How many areas should we cover?

Four to eight that you genuinely serve and can write about specifically, expanding as each one lands. Depth beats breadth here, and thin duplicated area pages tend to hold back the ones that are good.

How long does this take in Los Angeles?

First measurable movement typically shows inside three months. Neighborhood and separate-city terms usually take six to ten months to produce enquiries weekly, because the competition is among the densest in the country. Spanish-language terms frequently move faster. See how we manage Google Ads for cover meanwhile.
